Tips on how to choose a driving school

  1. When choosing a driving school, make sure the driving school only use fully qualified instructors who are registered with the DSA, (Driving Standards Agency). Quails School of motoring only use fully qualified, local, patient, friendly and highly professional instructors.
  2. It is very important that the car you learn to drive in is the correct size and has good all round visibility particularly for the reverse manoeuvres. Remember this car is going to be your mobile classroom whilst you take your lessons. At Quails we use the superb Vauxhall Corsa, Ford Fiesta and Peugot 207, these cars are really comfortable and relatively small, making them very easy to drive and manoeuvre, (particularly when it comes to the parking manoeuvres).
  3. Don’t be tricked into taking driving lessons with driving schools that offer ridiculously cheap driving lessons. Remember you get what you pay for, good quality driving schools are built on reputation, usually from years and years of delivering very high standards of service. Choosing a school like Quails who have over 22 years experience and only use fully qualified, professional, local instructors, will not only make you a better driver and help you to pass your test quicker, but will also save you time and money.
